THE EXPORTING RESULT OF PANGASIUS TO MAIN MARKETS
The economic crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic is also one of the major causes affecting the import and export activities of pangasius in many major markets around the world. As of the first half of June 2020, Vietnam's pangasius export value plunged by 29.8% over the same period in 2019, reaching US$ 612.3 million.
TOP TEN DESTINATIONS OF VIETNAMESE SEAFOOD IN THE FIRST HALF OF 2020
Vietnam saw a decline in exports in most markets in the first six months of 2020. The US, Japan, EU, China, and Korea continue to be traditional markets of Vietnamese seafood.
Vietnam brought in $3.6 billion from exporting seafood, down 7.4% from the same period last year, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs. The seafood export volume reached $719.2 million in June, up 12% from the previous months but slightly down 0.5% from June 2019.
PANGASIUS EXPORTS TO ENGLAND CONTINUES TO INCREASE
A 7.3% increase in sales of Vietnamese pangasius was recorded in England in the first half of 2020 despite COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Việt Nam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), the first half of 2020 saw a 15.2 % increase pangasius exports to England year on year, reaching $31.7% million

INFORMATION OF MARKET FOR SEAFOOD IN VIETNAM - AUG
According to statistics of the General Department of Fisheries of Vietnam, Pangasius production till the end of June 2020 is estimated at 587.3 thousand tons, down 15% compared to the same period last year. In the third and fourth quarters, Big size of pangasius account for the majority of the next harvest.
